Red Nike running shoes, size 9, lost near UNA
I lost my red Nike running shoes yesterday around 3pm near the University of North Alabama campus, around North Court Street by the campus coffee shop. They're size 9, low-cut with a white swoosh and a tiny blue lace tip that sticks out when I tie them. The left shoe has a small green stain on the inside heel, and the sole near the toe is a bit worn from daily runs. They mean a lot to me because I wear them every day, and I really need them back—they keep me going on my training schedule. Found vintage stamp album in downtown Florence
I found a small, brown leather-bound stamp album this afternoon around 2:30pm in the parking lot behind the Lauderdale County Courthouse on Court Street, Florence. The album is well-used, with a gold clasp that sticks a little and a bunch of colorful stamps peeking from the sleeves, mostly mid-20th century world stamps. Inside, there’s a handwritten note tucked into a sleeve that reads 'From Grandpa' in neat cursive, plus a pressed purple wildflower taped to a page as a keepsake. It feels sentimental, and I can tell someone spent hours organizing this collection, so I’d love to help reunite it with its owner.
Found a collection of rare 1995 Pokémon cards including a holographic Charizard in Florence, Alabama.
I found a collection of Pokémon cards while cleaning out my garage in Florence. They are from 1995 and include some rare cards like the holographic Charizard and a few others that I recognize from my childhood. I think they might belong to someone in the Muscle Shoals area.
