Vintage coin collection in leather-bound case
I lost my vintage coin collection yesterday around 3pm near the Capitol Theatre on Saginaw Street in Flint. It's tucked inside a dark brown leather-bound display case with a cracked glass lid and a brass clasp etched with the initials 'AM'. Inside are about 40 coins set in red felt slots, including a 1909-S Lincoln cent with wear and a rainbow-toned Morgan silver dollar. The case has a small dent along the bottom edge and a faded label on the inside cover that reads 'A. Michaels Collection'. It was my grandfather's, so it has real sentimental value and I’d be grateful to get it back.
Red leather coin binder with world coins
I found this red leather-bound Dansco-style coin binder stuffed with world coins this afternoon around 3pm in the parking lot behind the Flint Public Library on Saginaw Street. It's about 8x11 inches, with a worn spine and gold embossing that reads 'World Coins' on the cover. Inside are roughly 60 coins from the 1800s through the 1960s and a faded inventory card tucked into a sleeve, plus a small velvet pouch. The binder has a couple of unique marks: a tiny dent on the bottom-right corner and a sticky label inside that reads 'Property of PM' in faded ink. This really reads like a genuine collectors item—if you recognize it, I’d love to help get it back to its owner.
