Blue Nike running shoes with neon laces found near Ithaca
Found a pair of blue Nike running shoes, size 9, this afternoon around 3pm in front of the Ithaca Commons near East State Street. They’re a little scuffed on the toes, with neon green laces that pop against the dark blue fabric. The left shoe has a small coffee stain on the tongue, and the insoles smell faintly of new rubber. I picked them up near the benches by the bookstore and figured someone might be worried if their sneakers disappeared during the busier lunch crowd. If you’re missing them, I’ll happily hand them over to the owner—they look well-loved but still usable.

I’m hoping someone picked up my black Nike sneakers, size 9, with a bright red swoosh and a tiny blue paint spot on the left toe. I wore them yesterday around 3pm when I stopped by the Ithaca Commons on Green Street after grabbing coffee. They’re black leather sneakers with a white midsole and a soft gray interior; the left heel has a small scuff, and I stitched a blue thread into the lace to help me tell them apart. They’re my go-to daily shoes for classes and walks around the Finger Lakes area, and they have sentimental value since they were a gift from my mom. If anyone found them, I’d really appreciate getting them back!
