Found violin in black case near Morris Thompson Center
I found a violin this afternoon around 4:15pm outside the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitors Center on 2nd Ave in Fairbanks. It’s a 3/4 size violin with a warm sunburst finish, tucked in a black hard case with a worn chin rest and a frayed bow tucked inside. Inside the case there’s a label that reads 'Stentor Student II.' There’s a small dent on the lower bout, but the strings look taut and it still plays nicely when tuned. It seems clearly valued, and I can imagine it’s important to its owner—if this is yours, reply here so we can arrange a safe handoff in Fairbanks.
Lost handmade dark wood violin in black case with red interior near Fairbanks Downtown Park.
I lost my grandfather's violin while walking my dog around Fairbanks downtown park yesterday evening. It is a beautiful handmade instrument with a dark wood finish and has significant sentimental value to me. The case is black with a red interior, and if anyone comes across it, please let me know. I would be so grateful!
Lost green Fender electric guitar in hard case last seen near the Blue Loon in Fairbanks.
I lost my green Fender electric guitar while packing my car after leaving a gig at the Blue Loon in Fairbanks last Saturday night. It's in a hard case, and I would really love to get it back as it holds a lot of sentimental value for me. If anyone has seen it, please reach out.
