I found a hand-painted ceramic vase yesterday around 5:15 pm near the Elko Public Library on 4th Street. It's about 9 inches tall, white glaze with a cobalt blue floral motif, and there's a small chip on the rim, plus a faint signature on the bottom that reads 'Mira T'. It looked tucked behind a folded newspaper on the library steps, and I could tell someone likely cares about it—it's really pretty and seems sentimental. I lost a beautiful snow globe featuring a winter village scene while visiting the park in Elko last Saturday. It was a gray, rainy day and I'm worried it might have slipped out of my bag during a walk. It's quite dear to me, as it was a gift from my grandmother.
