I found a stainless steel pot with a glass lid on the walking path near the Water of Leith in Edinburgh. It looks brand new, and I think it might have fallen from someone's bag. It was a nice sunny day, so maybe someone took a picnic nearby and left it behind. I would love to return it to its owner!
Ray-Ban tortoiseshell glasses, lost on Princes Street
I lost my Ray-Ban tortoiseshell glasses yesterday around 3pm near the Scott Monument on Princes Street. They're the classic metal-frame style with brown tortoiseshell corners and a noticeable scuff on the left temple; one lens has a tiny speck that can barely be seen in bright light. There's a small engraving on the inside of the right arm, initials 'PK', and they came with a black leather flip-case that has a dent in the corner. They're my go-to pair for work and reading, and I really need them back; I can't drive or read signs clearly without them. If you found them, you can drop them off at the Lost & Found desk near Waverley Station.

I found a bearded dragon this afternoon around 2:15pm, inside a small glass terrarium with a heat lamp, sitting on a bench near the Scott Monument on Princes Street in Edinburgh. It’s about 8 inches long from snout to tail, sandy brown with darker crossbands and a bright orange beard that shows when it’s curious. The terrarium lid has a blue sticker reading 'Milo' and there’s a tiny notch on the left tail scale. It seemed well-fed and calm, so I’m hoping to reunite it with its owner soon—pets like this mean a lot to people. If this is yours, send me a message here and we can work out a safe handover.
