Silver ring with emerald chip found near Scott Monument

I found a sterling silver ring this morning around 10:15am on Princes Street Gardens, near the Scott Monument. It's a slim, polished 6mm band with a tiny emerald chip set in a clean bezel, and two tiny star engravings on the inner edge. The ring looks slightly worn, as if it's traveled a bit, but it still catches the light nicely. If this belongs to someone, I would love to reunite it with them—we can meet somewhere in Edinburgh to hand it back.
