I lost my little green parakeet yesterday around 3pm. It's a 6-inch budgie with bright green feathers, a yellow belly, blue-tipped tail feathers, and a tiny white patch on its right wing. It slipped from my shoulder near the Eau Claire Public Library on Barstow Street downtown, and I chased it toward the river path. I found a cat this afternoon around 2:15pm near Riverside Park along Barstow Street, right by the Phoenix Park bridge in Eau Claire. It's a medium-sized gray tabby with white on the chest and paws, green eyes, and a red collar with a small silver bell. There's a tiny white heart-shaped patch on the chest and a small notch in the left ear; the fur looks clean but it's clearly been outside for a while. I had him in a small gray cage with a blue wheel and sunflower seed bedding, and he slipped out when I opened the door near the Eau Claire Public Library on Water Street.
