I lost my black leather Samsonite briefcase yesterday around 3pm downtown Eau Claire. It's a slightly worn case with brass hardware and a red lining you can see when you open it. Inside are a yellow legal pad, a small USB drive, and a folded photo of my family tucked in the pocket. The bottom corner is a bit scuffed, and there's a white label on the inside that reads 'Property of A. Okafor'—my initials. It has sentimental value; it was a gift from my mentor, and I really need it back. If anyone finds it, I'm happy to meet at the Public Library on Barstow Street to collect it.

Inside there's a blue notebook labeled 'Q3 Proposals' and a red fountain pen clipped to the inner pocket. I'd really like to see it back with its owner soon, since I know it probably holds important documents.

It's a genuine Hartmann briefcase, about 14 inches wide, 11 inches tall, with a sturdy handle and a brass clasp; the leather has a few light scuffs but overall it's in decent shape. The interior lining is a dark red fabric, with a couple of small pockets and a brass name plate on the front with the initials 'A.R.' I even found a yellow sticky note tucked in the outer pocket that reads 'A.R. - please contact me' so I think you were close.
