Holiday decorations missing in Eastern Montana

I lost my holiday decorations around 7:30 p.m. on December 20 while setting up the town Christmas display along Main Street in Eastern Montana. My bag contained garlands, a string of star-shaped lights, and tinsel, and I left it on a bench outside the community center while I fetched extra hooks. When I returned, a chilly gust had scattered the pieces. This isn’t just about lights; these decorations carry memories of family gatherings and our town’s seasonal traditions. If anyone found them by the bench outside the Eastern Montana Community Center along Main Street, I’d be grateful they were kept safe.

Two pet rabbits missing near the eastern plains.

I lost my two rabbits this Saturday around 6:30 p.m. They’re a gray lop named Miso and a cream-colored mini rex called Poppy. I had them out in the yard by the east-facing chicken coop, and I must have left the gate ajar while I was rolling up a hose. I walked the edge of the town pasture, calling their names and listening for their tiny feet in the dry grass. I miss their soft ears and gentle nuzzles; they always kept me grounded after long days. If anyone saw them hopping along the county road on the eastern plains, please let me know through the site.

LOST: Devices in Eastern Montana

Late Thursday at 8:15pm, I realized my devices were missing from the cab after a long haul across eastern Montana. I must have set them down while I stretched at the Flying J Travel Center off I-90 just east of Miles City. The laptop bag and phone were in a gray case with a soft lining; they’re essential for work and school. I retraced my steps and searched every nearby corner, but they didn’t reappear. I hope whoever found them understands how important they are and can help reunite me with them.

Lost: two flutes near Miles City's Garfield Park

I was cleaning up after practice at Miles City's Garfield Park around 6:15 p.m. last Friday when I realized my two flutes were gone. There's a silver student flute with a scratch near the lip and a darker wooden flute with a simple leaf carving. I love playing those parts at school concerts, and the thought of them sitting on a bench breaks my heart. I come back through the river trail and the duck pond, hands empty, and the sky had a quiet purple dusk over the eastern plains. If anyone found them, I’d be grateful beyond words.

Lost Canines in eastern Montana.

I lost my Canines on Sunday around 5:45 PM while hiking along the Musselshell River Trailhead, east of Miles City, Montana. They spotted a deer and their leashes came loose; the two dogs bolted into the sage and I lost sight of them as the trail curled around a hill. Scout, a blue heeler with a red collar, and Brix, a brown-lab mix, are usually calm but today they vanished into the fading light. The prairie air was cold and the sun was sinking fast, and my heart tightened with worry. I’ve been checking this site daily, hoping a kind soul has seen them and can point me home. If you’ve seen my Canines, please help guide them back.

Lost pins from my jacket in Miles City

Yesterday around 6:45 p.m., I lost several enamel pins from my denim jacket outside the Miles City train depot on Main Street. They’re a small collection I wear for luck and memory: one is a Montana outline, another a tiny horse, and a sparkly pink pin from a local fundraiser. They were gifts from my grandma, so they feel like part of her. I must have brushed against a railing and knocked them off while I hurried to catch a ride. If you find them, please leave them near the depot stairs.

Found coins along Main Street, Glendive

I was walking home along Main Street in Glendive around 8:15 p.m. last Friday when I spotted a small pouch lying on the curb with coins spilled beside it. Inside was a mix of quarters, dimes, and a few older pennies, their dates worn but the shapes clear. The coins caught the glare of the streetlight and I tucked them into a clean zip-top bag, hoping the owner would see this post and recognize them by the weight or the specific dates. I’m leaving them here in good faith, and I’d love to see the owner reclaim these little treasures through this site.

FOUND: Adapters near Fort Peck Dam, eastern Montana

Hi, I’m Lucas Hayes. I found these adapters this morning around 9:15 a.m., along the Missouri River by the Fort Peck Dam Visitor Center on US-2 in eastern Montana. A small pile of USB-C and micro-USB adapters lay beside a backpack on a bench by the trail. They looked recently dropped, and I could imagine someone traveling through the plains, charging devices between stops. I tucked them into a small pouch I carry and kept them in sight, hoping the owner will see this post and claim them soon.

Found organizers near the county fairgrounds

FOUND: I found these organizers this afternoon, around 3:22 p.m., beside the east entrance of the Eastern Montana County Fairgrounds. It’s a black desk organizer with three compartments, a pencil cup, and a sticky notepad. They looked like something someone uses at a busy desk—maybe a teacher or a local business volunteer who was helping at the fair today. I set them on a bench and watched them for a while as the crowd thinned out, just to be safe. Losing something that keeps a day organized can be really stressful, so I’m hoping the owner will recognize them here on the site.

Lost DVDs in Eastern Montana, Montana, United States

While unloading groceries outside the Miles City depot around 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, my stack of DVDs slipped from the backseat and disappeared into the evening along Main Street. They’re in a black case with a white label, a mix of westerns and a hometown documentary that means a lot to me. Those discs hold memories of family movie nights and road trips through the badlands, and I’d be grateful to have them back. If you found them near the old depot or along the railroad tracks, please return them to the Miles City area or drop them at the local lost-and-found—thank you.

Black DeWalt 20V drill in yellow case

I lost my black DeWalt 20V cordless drill yesterday around 3pm. It was in a yellow DeWalt hard case with a small red fox sticker on the lid and a slightly bent belt clip. I had left it in the trunk area of my pickup after loading cabinet screws at the Home Depot parking lot off Central Ave in Billings, MT, Eastern Montana. The drill is compact, model DCD771, with a blue 'AF' initials sticker on the bottom corner and the 20V XR battery attached. It's the main tool I rely on for daily contractor work, and losing it is stressing me out. If anyone saw it or picked it up, please message me here and I’ll arrange a pickup in Billings as soon as possible.

Montana driver's license in black wallet

I lost my Montana driver's license yesterday around 3pm near Rimrock Mall in Billings. It was tucked in my black leather wallet, a bit worn, with a small coffee stain along the back edge. The license photo shows me with a green fleece and a tiny scar above my left eyebrow; expiration date is 08/2025. This is my only ID for work and travel, and I really need it back—if someone found it near the food court or the Target parking lot, email [email protected].

Black iPhone 12 Pro Max in blue OtterBox case

I lost my black iPhone 12 Pro Max yesterday around 3pm in the parking lot behind the Walmart on West 24th Street in Billings, MT. It's in a blue OtterBox Defender case with a small pine-tree sticker on the back. The screen has a tiny crack along the top edge and there's a faint scratch near the home button, but the phone still works and the photos from a family trip last summer are inside—making it really important to get back. If you found it, please text me at 406-555-0123 or email [email protected]. It has sentimental value; I’d be heartbroken to lose those memories.

Gray canvas tote with leather handles

I lost my gray canvas tote yesterday around 3pm near the Rustler Café on Main Street in Miles City, Eastern Montana. It's a medium-sized bag, about 14x12 inches, with black faux-leather handles and a small red tassel keychain I picked up at a fair. Inside there are a few class notes and a worn green notebook, plus a brass badge on the inner pocket that says 'MILES'—hard to miss. The bag has sentimental value to me because it held my late grandmother's scarf and a faded photo from her wedding. If anyone found it, I really need it back.
