Gray plush cat with lime-green ribbon
Found a gray plush cat about 12 inches tall behind the Mystic Aquarium parking lot this afternoon around 1:45pm. It has soft fur, white paws, bright green eyes, and a lime-green ribbon tied around its neck. There’s a small white patch on the belly and a tiny snag on the tail from a tumble outside. It clearly belongs to a kid who loves it, so I’d be glad to hand it back to the owner in Eastern CT.
Framed abstract painting, blue and gold
I lost a framed abstract painting yesterday around 3pm in the Mohegan Sun Arena parking lot in Uncasville. It’s an 18x24 inch canvas, mostly cobalt blue with shimmering gold accents, housed in a distressed oak frame that has a small scuff on the bottom edge. On the back there’s a pencil note that says 'For Mother's Day' and a faint fingerprint near the lower-right signature. It has serious sentimental value to me—it's a gift from my grandmother that I’ve kept in the living room for years. If anyone found it, I’d really appreciate getting it back.
Vintage Hamilton pocket watch with monogram
Hey, I’m Priya Patel. I lost my vintage Hamilton pocket watch yesterday around 3pm near the Groton Public Library on Route 1 in Eastern CT. It’s a gold-tone 1960s pocket watch, roughly 1.75 inches across, with a black leather fob; the back is engraved with the monogram 'M.R.' and the glass has a tiny crack. The case shows some wear, but the dial is clean, and this piece has sentimental value because it belonged to my grandfather. If you found it, I’d be incredibly grateful to get it back; I can meet at the library or arrange a pickup anywhere in Eastern CT.
Framed watercolor print in gold frame
I found a framed watercolor print this afternoon around 2:30pm in the parking lot behind Mystic Aquarium on Coogan Boulevard in Mystic. It's a 12x16 inch piece, matted in a cream border and housed in a gold-tone wooden frame that's got a few nicks along the edge. The painting shows a misty harbor with a couple of sailboats and a lighthouse, signed 'K. Rivera' in the lower right corner. The back has a Mason Gallery New London label and a note that says 'Harbor Lane, 2019.' I figured someone might be missing it, so I’m posting here in case the owner recognizes it.
Blue plush bear with red scarf and star patch
Category: Children's Toys & Games. I lost my blue plush bear yesterday around 3pm near Olde Mistick Village entrance in Mystic, CT. It's about 12 inches tall, made of soft blue velour, with a bright red knitted scarf, white paw tips, and a small yellow star patch on the left foot. It looks a bit worn from lots of hugs; there's a tiny tear at the right ear and the scarf tends to slip off. It has sentimental value—it was a gift from my grandmother, and I really need it back. If anyone found it, please shoot me a message. I’m happy to meet in Mystic to pick it up; thanks so much.
Found a hand-painted ceramic vase with floral designs near the visitor center at Niantic State Park.
I found a beautiful hand-painted ceramic vase lying on the ground while strolling along the trails near the Niantic State Park in Eastern CT. It has lovely floral designs in vibrant colors and looks quite valuable. I left it at the visitor center, but I wanted to post here in case the owner is looking for it!
