FOUND Microwaves in Eastern CT
On Monday at 11:40 AM, while I was walking near Mystic Seaport in Mystic, CT, I spotted two microwaves sitting behind a trash bin by a building on Water Street. They looked untouched, so I picked them up and carried them to the security desk at the nearby community center to keep them safe until the owner could claim them. It felt like a small bit of luck in a busy day, and I’m glad I could help. If the rightful owner sees this, I hope they recognize them and claim them through the site.

I lost my blue ceramic mug with a white star pattern yesterday around 3pm. I’d left it on the counter at the Mohegan Sun Café on Route 32 in Mystic, and I think someone grabbed it as the lunch crowd moved through. It’s a medium mug, about 3.5 inches tall, with a chipped rim and a small white star sticker on the bottom. I use it every morning, and it was a gift from my grandmother, so it’s sentimental to me. If anyone found it, I’d really appreciate returning it—I’m happy to pick it up anywhere in Mystic or Groton.

I found a Le Creuset enamel-coated cast-iron Dutch oven in Flame today around 2:45pm near the Mystic Aquarium entrance on Route 1 in Mystic, CT. It's a 5.5-quart pot, pretty heavy, with a small chip on the lid rim and a tiny scratch along the side, but the enamel color is bright and intact. The interior is clean and the bottom bears the Le Creuset stamp, so it’s pretty unmistakable. I know losing a favorite kitchen workhorse can be a real bummer—if this is yours, I’d love to get it back to you.
