I found a bundle labeled 'Equipment for Various Sports' near the benches outside Campus Martius Park in downtown Detroit at 9:18 a.m. today. Inside was a tennis racket, a basketball, a pair of cleats, a rolled yoga mat, and a whistle—clearly a grab-bag from more than one sport. It looked recently dropped and not abandoned, so I brought it to the park's lost-and-found box, hoping the owner would recognize it on this site. It’s the kind of gear that belongs to someone who hustles between practice and games. I can imagine the owner realizing their stuff is missing and feeling a surge of relief when it’s found. Lost Action Figures near Detroit Metro Airport
Sunday around 9:15 PM I was in my hotel room near Detroit Metro Airport, Terminal A, when I realized two action figures were missing from my dresser. The figures are a bright-red Iron Man with a shiny suit and a small green alien with a dented helmet. They’re tiny, but they mean a lot to me because they remind me of trips and the chance finds that make travel feel personal. I kept them on display by the TV, and I must have left them when I packed for an early flight. If someone turned them in, I’d be grateful to have them back.

I found a lovely hand-painted ceramic vase while walking my dog in a park near the Detroit Metro area. It's quite intricate with floral designs and seems like it may hold sentimental value. I’d love to return it to its owner if someone can describe it or identify its origin.
