Found shoes by Delaware Park, Market St
As I was walking my dog along Market Street this afternoon, around 4:25 p.m., I found a pair of shoes abandoned on a bench by Delaware Park. They're blue sneakers, size 9, with a white sole and a small scuff on the toe. The laces are slightly frayed, but they're otherwise in good condition. I picked them up and brought them to the Delaware Library front desk, hoping the owner would recognize them and claim them. I know how frustrating it is to misplace something so personal; I felt a bit of relief to do the right thing. If the owner sees this, please check with the library staff.
LOST: Suits in Dover downtown
I realized at 6:30 pm yesterday that my suits were missing from the coat closet in downtown Dover, Delaware, right by the old post office building. They’re two charcoal suits on matching hangers, one with a faint water stain on the lapel and a spare tie tucked into the pocket. I left them there after a quick meeting, thinking I’d grab them before heading to the airport, but when I returned they were gone. Found a charcoal gray Nike hoodie this afternoon around 2:15pm in the bike rack area behind the Chase Bank on Market Street in Wilmington, Delaware. It's a size L with a faded white Nike swoosh on the chest and a little fraying on the cuffs. Inside the left pocket there's a small sewn patch that reads 'Cape Henlopen Surf Club'—definitely a standout detail. It was lying on the ground after I paused to stretch during my walk along the Riverfront. Blue Nike Dri-FIT shorts, size M
I lost my blue Nike Dri-FIT running shorts, size M, yesterday around 3pm. I was looping around Market Street Plaza in downtown Wilmington, DE, near the Riverfront, and I must've dropped them during a sprint. They’re royal blue with a neon lime green drawstring, and the left hem has a tiny snag from a fence.
