I lost my silver Yamaha flute yesterday around 3pm near the Daytona Beach Bandshell on the Boardwalk along Atlantic Avenue. It's a 26-inch Yamaha student model in a black hard case with a red interior. There's a tiny dent on the lip plate and the foot joint is engraved with the initials 'A.N.' plus a small school sticker on the case. This flute was a gift from my grandmother and it genuinely means a lot to me; I really need it back to continue lessons.
I lost my black Nike running shoes, size 9, with a neon green swoosh. I last wore them yesterday around 3pm near the Daytona Beach Boardwalk along Atlantic Avenue, beside the Ocean Center, when I paused at a smoothie stand by the pier. They’re Nike Air Zoom Pegasus (older model), a little scuffed on the toe from a boardwalk tumble, and there’s a small tear on the inner lining of the right shoe. The left insole has a faded gym sticker, and they’ve got sentimental value because they were a gift from my sister. If you found them, please reach out; I really need them back before this weekend.
I think I set it down while wandering the Daytona Beach Boardwalk yesterday around 3pm. It's a blue Penguin Classics paperback, about 320 pages, with a dog-eared corner and a small coffee stain along the back cover. There's a yellow ribbon bookmark peeking from page 142, and the spine shows wear from being tucked in my backpack. This book has sentimental value — it's one I reread when I'm homesick, and it's kind of my anchor while living here. If you found it near the Bandshell by the Main Street Pier or at the Lifeguard Stand, drop me a note at [email protected].
Found this morning around 7:15am in the parking lot behind the Ocean Center on Beach Street near the Boardwalk in Daytona Beach. It’s a black satin tuxedo jacket, size 42R, with shiny satin peak lapels, and a matching pair of trousers tucked in a garment bag. There’s a small gold cufflink in the jacket pocket and a subtle monogram 'LW' stitched on the inside lining. The suit looks well cared for, a little crease from sitting in the bag, but otherwise in great shape. I know this kind of formal wear can mean a lot to someone who has a special event, so I’d be glad to reunite it with its owner. Email [email protected] if this is yours and we’ll arrange a safe drop-off.
Found a gray Nike windbreaker, size M, with a small pink zipper pull and an embroidered turtle on the inner sleeve. I found it this afternoon around 3:15pm near the Daytona Beach Boardwalk by the Pier on Atlantic Ave. The jacket looks barely worn, with a faint salt stain on the hem but otherwise in good condition. It seems like it might belong to someone who cares about it—it could mean a lot to the owner, especially if it was a gift or your go-to piece for chilly evenings. If this is yours, shoot me a message here with any distinguishing features or the brand/size, and we can arrange pickup nearby.
I lost my blue-and-white striped duvet cover, queen size, yesterday around 3pm near the Ocean Walk shops on Atlantic Avenue in Daytona Beach. It's a cotton cover from Linen & Co., with a small AP monogram embroidered in navy at the top edge and a tiny coffee stain on the inside corner. It’s been in our family for years and feels sentimental—it was a gift from my grandmother. The cover is slightly faded from washing, but still soft and comfortable. If you happened to see it or picked it up, I’d really appreciate getting it back to our condo on Beach Street; I’ll be so grateful.
