Lost sports equipment in Coventry
I lost my equipment for various sports after a training session near Coventry Cathedral at 7:30 pm on Monday. I had left a large blue holdall on a bench by the car park, and it vanished by the time I walked back with the rest of the team. Inside was gear for multiple sports—football boots, a rugby ball, a tennis racket, and a whistle—things I use every week. I’m gutted and the thought of someone else using my gear hits me hard when the street lamps glow over the square.
Mint LEGO Star Wars X-Wing in box
I found a mint-condition LEGO Star Wars X-Wing Fighter set this afternoon around 4:15 pm, lying on a stone step outside Coventry Cathedral near Broadgate. It's still in its original red-and-white box, with light creasing along the bottom-right corner and a small blue sticker on the front that has the handwritten name 'A. Patel.' The inner bags look mostly complete—there's the instruction manual tucked inside and a few sealed bags, plus a handful of loose pieces on top. I’ve kept it here in case the owner recognises these distinctive markings; if this is yours, drop me a note in the app and we can arrange a meet-up in the City Centre.
Framed abstract painting with orange arc
I found a framed abstract painting this afternoon around 4:15pm, left on the pavement outside the Belgrade Theatre on Belgrade Plaza in Coventry City Centre. It's about 40x50 cm, in a dark walnut wood frame with a cream mat, and the artwork features soft pinks and blues with a bold orange arc sweeping across the canvas. On the back there is a small circular sticker with the initials KM and the year 2023, plus a faint Studio L label. It looks well cared for, though the frame has a couple of light scuffs. If it's yours, I'd be glad to help reunite you.
Lost antique vase with intricate floral patterns left on a bench in War Memorial Park, Coventry.
I lost my beautiful antique vase, which has intricate floral patterns painted on it. I last had it with me when I was picnicking in Coventry's War Memorial Park, and I think I might have accidentally left it behind on one of the benches. It has sentimental value and would appreciate its return.
