It's a mid-2018 model, tucked in a black Speck case with a neon green cactus sticker on the lid. Inside the laptop bag I kept a brown leather sleeve with the initials 'MP' and a folder of personal photos and a few screenplay drafts—work I’m really attached to. It matters a lot to me; this is my primary device for editing digital media and it also holds memories from college.
