Violin in black case with blue rosin
I found a violin this afternoon around 3:15pm near the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville, by the Market Street bike racks next to the Paramount Theater. It's a 4/4 student model in a black hard case that's a little scuffed but still solid, with a bright blue rosin bag tucked in the outer pocket. Inside the case there's a label reading 'Yamaha Student Violin' and a small paw-print sticker on the lid, plus a spare E string tucked into the lining. It seems well-loved and I'd hate for it to get farther from its owner -- hope to reunite it with whoever's missing it.
Silver flute found near Downtown Mall
Found a silver Yamaha student flute this afternoon around 3:15 pm in the Market Street Parking Garage behind the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville, near City Hall. It's a Yamaha student model, mostly shiny with a few minor scratches, and the lip plate has a tiny nick. The headjoint cap is engraved with the initials 'M.J.' and the black hard case has a gray shoulder strap and a small dent in the corner. The flute feels solid and seems playable, and I’d be glad to help reunite it with its owner. If you recognize the initials or the case details, describe them and we’ll figure out a safe handoff.
Black KORG microKORG found near Paramount Theater
I found a black KORG microKORG synthesizer this afternoon around 3pm in front of the Paramount Theater on Charlottesville's Downtown Mall. It's compact, about the size of a large backpack, with minor wear on the top panel and a small red sticker on the front that reads 'MK-19'. It sat next to a mint-green tote bag and a crumpled sheet of guitar picks, and there was a faint smell of coffee in the air. If this is yours, I'd love to get it back to you—happy to meet somewhere convenient in Charlottesville to hand it over.
Blue Yamaha metronome in black pouch
I lost my blue Yamaha metronome yesterday around 3pm near the Mudhouse Coffee on Market Street, Charlottesville. It’s palm-sized, plastic blue with a small dent on the bottom edge and a red LED that blinks when it keeps tempo. It was in a slim black zip pouch with a tiny treble-clef sticker on the front; the sticker is easy to spot if you’re looking closely. This metronome means a lot to me—it's my daily practice companion and reminds me of my late music teacher, so I really need it back. If someone found it, I’d be grateful to get it back; please ping me through the app.
Lost black Yamaha P-125 digital piano likely left near the park entrance by the old oak tree.
I misplaced my black Yamaha P-125 digital piano while moving from a friend's place after a jam session. It might have been left near the park entrance by the old oak tree. I really hope to find it, as it holds a lot of sentimental value.
Found compact black portable electronic keyboard with stickers near the downtown mall in Charlottesville.
I found a portable electronic keyboard near the downtown mall in Charlottesville yesterday afternoon. It's a compact black model with some stickers on the side. I was sitting on a park bench and noticed it sitting next to some bushes. It looks like it might have been left behind by someone who was playing music or practicing outside.
Lost vintage harmonica in a worn dark brown leather case near the coffee shop on 4th Street in downtown Charlottesville.
I lost my favorite vintage harmonica while walking through downtown Charlottesville last Sunday. It was in a dark brown leather case that's seen better days but has sentimental value. I remember taking it out to play near the coffee shop on 4th Street, but after that, I can't find it anywhere. I'm really hoping someone might have picked it up.
