Tri-color guinea pig in blue harness
I lost my tri-color guinea pig yesterday around 3pm outside the Charleston City Market on Market Street, near the Marion Square fountain. It's about 9 inches long with soft fur - white with black and tan patches. It wears a tiny blue harness with a silver bell that jingles when he scampers. One distinguishing feature: a white patch above its left ear that looks a little heart-shaped. It's a sweet, curious little guy, and this was a gift from my grandmother; it means a lot to me. I'm really hoping someone might have seen him and can help bring him back.
Found brown and white guinea pig with crumpled ear
I was walking along Market Street by the City Market entrance this afternoon around 3:15pm when I spotted a small guinea pig wandering near the curb. It's brown and white, with a fluffy coat about the size of a large hamster, and one ear is a little crumpled. It didn't have a collar and I couldn't find a microchip after a quick check. There's a tiny white spot on its left hind foot that should help the owner recognize it. I'm relieved to have caught it and kept it safe while we try to reunite it with its person in Charleston. If this sounds like your pet, reply with its name, color details, or microchip ID if you know it.
