14k gold ring with sapphire, found on Green Street
Found a ring this afternoon around 2:15pm outside Espresso Royale on Green Street in Champaign-Urbana. It’s a 14k yellow gold ring, size about 6, with a small bezel-set sapphire that catches the light. The band has a delicate milgrain edge and a tiny heart engraving on the inside with the initials 'A.L.' It's clearly well cared for, not chipped, and I really hope to get it back to its owner. I found a gold ring this afternoon around 2:30pm outside the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts on Green Street, Champaign-Urbana. It's a 14k yellow-gold ring with a small round diamond set in a bezel, about size 6.5. The band shows light wear and there’s a tiny engraving on the inside that reads 'M.L. 04/12'. I picked it up from the sidewalk after a campus event, hoping to reunite it with its owner.
