Lost memory cards near UIUC Main Library
I’m finishing up a late study session at UIUC when I realize my memory cards are missing after I photographed campus life. It was around 9:30 p.m. yesterday, by the Main Library entrance on the UIUC campus, close to the Quad crosswalk. The tiny black case holds two 32GB cards and a 64GB card, one with a red label and another with a tiny scratch. Those files include campus photos, notes from fieldwork, and a few personal shots I treasure. I’m trying not to panic, but the thought of them being gone is tough—I'm hoping someone found them and kept them safe so they can be returned here.
Found GPS devices in Champaign Urbana, Illinois
Hi, I'm Avery Kim. I found a set of GPS devices this morning near the Illini Union on Green Street in Champaign-Urbana around 9:15 AM. They were sitting on a curb by the bus stop, tucked in a small pouch with a charger still attached. There were two devices—an in-car navigator and a sports GPS—along with a charging cable. It felt strange to stumble on someone’s belongings, and I kept them safe where I found them. I can only imagine how stressful it would be to lose this stuff on campus, and I’m hoping the owner will see this and know it’s been kept secure in the meantime.
