Lost appliances on Main Street, Hyannis.
I’m so bummed—around 11:45 a.m. Tuesday I left Hyannis Main Street with a shopping bag full of groceries and a box of small appliances, and by the time I got to the Hyannis ferry terminal, the box was gone. Inside were a white blender, a chrome toaster, and a compact coffee maker. The harbor breeze carried the scent of sea salt and diesel buses, and I kept picturing someone wandering with those items in a rush. I’ve walked the length of Main Street from the Cape Cod Mall to the ferry terminal twice, hoping to find a kind soul who turned them in.

I lost my microwaves on Saturday at 7:42 pm after a sunset walk along MacMillan Pier in Provincetown. They were missing from the kitchen of our weekend rental, the cupboards where I always keep them now bare. I feel a mix of frustration and worry, since one unit is essential for late dinners after long bike rides along the shore. I'm hoping whoever took them left them somewhere safe, and that they'll find their way back to the cottage.

It's a CozyNest brand, cotton-poly blend, with a soft, slightly faded look and a white embroidered border. There's a tiny initial 'A' embroidered in the lower right corner and a faint coffee stain near the corner label. I realized it yesterday around 3pm after I unpacked the bed, and it has sentimental value because it was a gift from my grandmother; I'd really appreciate getting it back.
