Silver Yamaha flute with dolphin lip-plate engraving
I lost my silver Yamaha flute yesterday around 3pm near Canalside in Buffalo. It's a Yamaha YFL-221 student flute, silver-plated, and there's a small dent on the foot joint with a dolphin engraving on the lip plate. The case is black with a red lining, and there’s a tiny sticker inside the lid with the initials 'AP' fading a bit. This flute means a lot to me—it's how I unwind after band practice, and I’d really appreciate getting it back if anyone finds it.
Blue Yamaha snare drum with dragon sticker
I found a blue Yamaha snare drum with a dragon sticker on the shell, a dent on the rim, and a black nylon drumstick bag tucked beneath. I came across it this afternoon around 2:15pm in the parking lot behind the Anchor Bar on Main Street in Buffalo. The drum looks well used but still in decent shape, and the dragon sticker makes it really distinctive. If this belongs to someone, I’m happy to return it to its owner, especially since it clearly has gig history and a story behind it.
Black Akai MPK Mini MK3 MIDI keyboard
I’m hoping someone picked up my black Akai MPK Mini MK3 25-key MIDI keyboard yesterday around 3pm outside the Anchor Bar on Main Street in Buffalo, near Chippewa Street. It’s a compact, matte-black controller with white letters and a red USB-C cable tucked under the case. There’s a small scratch along the right edge and a tiny sticker that says 'Studio A' on the bottom side—easy clues for identifying it. It was a gift from my late grandfather, so it has real sentimental value and I really need it back. If you found it, please reach out.
Gold-tone alto sax in black hard case
I found a gold-tone alto saxophone this afternoon around 3:15pm near the steps of the Buffalo Central Library on Lafayette Square. It’s in a black hard case with a blue neck strap, and there’s a small engraving 'K.R.' on the bell plus a dent along the rim from a bump or two. The lacquer is a little worn, and the keys feel responsive when I test them, with a couple of reeds tucked inside the mouthpiece cap. Inside the case I spotted a yellow cleaning cloth and a folded concert program sleeve, which makes me think it belongs to a local player or student. If this sounds like yours, send me a message here with identifying details so we can verify and meet in a safe downtown spot.
