Found passport at Canalside, Buffalo
I was strolling the Canalside boardwalk by the Erie Canal in Buffalo around 4:15 p.m. this past Saturday when a blue passport peeked out from beneath a bench. The sun lit the water in a copper glow, and a breeze tossed the whistle of a nearby street performer as I picked it up. The cover looked a touch worn, edges curled, and the name inside was unfamiliar to me. I flipped to the photo page and saw no obvious contact details, just a stamp from a recent departure. I slipped the passport into my jacket pocket and brought it to the Canalside information desk, hoping the owner would see this and breathe a little easier. It felt right to do the small good.
Lost Airline ticket in Buffalo
I was checking my bag near Canalside, by the pedestrian bridge overlooking the harbor, around 3:20 p.m. when I realized my airline ticket for tomorrow’s flight had vanished. The bag sat on a bench while I scanned the boardwalk and the little cafe a few meters away, but I couldn’t find it anywhere. Losing that ticket feels like losing my plan for the week, and I keep replaying the moment I last saw it. If it turns up, I’ll be grateful beyond words and I’ll adjust plans with a bit more patience.
Blue employee ID badge with photo
I lost my blue employee ID badge yesterday around 3pm near the Pearl Street Grille on Delaware Ave in downtown Buffalo. It's a standard plastic card about the size of a credit card, with my photo on the left, wearing a navy blazer, and an orange stripe across the top. There's a small dent on the bottom-right corner, and I even left a tiny sticker from a local coffee roaster on the back. The name on the card is 'Alex Rivera' and it's my access badge for the office - really need it back to get into work. If anyone found it, please drop it at the Buffalo Downtown Lost & Found or message me; I'd be so grateful and it has my work and personal info on it.
