Lost & found birds in Brunswick

Blue budgie with yellow chest and red leg band

Found a blue budgie this afternoon around 3:45pm near the Bowdoin College Library on Maine Street in Brunswick. It has a cobalt blue body, a pale yellow chest, and a tiny red leg band with the number 27. The bird stayed perched on a bench railing outside the campus bookstore as I walked by, chirping softly and looking a little hungry. I’m hoping to get it back to its owner, because it clearly belongs to someone who loves it.
