Found honey oak coffee table with drawer
Found a honey oak coffee table with a single shallow drawer outside Churchill Square Shopping Centre on West Street yesterday around 4pm. It's about 110 cm long, 50 cm wide, and in decent condition with a small chip on the front edge and a few faint scratches on the top. It looks like a flat-pack piece, maybe IKEA-level—the finish is smooth and the drawer runs nicely. On the underside of the drawer there's a faded sticker that says 'Property of M. Reed' and a pencil initials mark 'MR'—two little clues I noticed. I know it's probably someone else's, and I hope the owner sees this and gets it back.
Cream velvet ottoman with wooden legs
I lost my cream velvet ottoman yesterday around 3pm near the Brighton Palace Pier along Madeira Drive. It's a small 40x40 cm square piece with soft cream fabric, light oak mid-century style legs, and a couple of tiny puckers along the top from years of use. One corner has a faint coffee stain near the seam and a small dent on the right edge—that's how I can tell it's mine. It was a gift from my grandmother and holds sentimental value, so I'm really hoping it turns up. If you found it, please drop me a message here—I'd be so grateful to get it back.
Teak mid-century coffee table with dent and LB mark
I lost my teak coffee table, a mid-century piece about 110 cm long and 60 cm wide, with a clear varnish and honey-toned finish. It’s in decent condition, but there’s a small circular dent on the top-right corner and a faint water stain in the center. I last saw it yesterday around 3pm, propped against the wall near the Duke of York’s cinema on Preston Street in Brighton while I ducked into a cafe for a minute. It’s sentimental to me—it was a gift from my grandmother and I’d hate to lose it. If anyone found it, please drop me a note. It has initials LB carved on the underside, easy to spot.
DeWalt 20V cordless drill, yellow/black
I lost my DeWalt 20V cordless drill, yellow and black, yesterday around 3pm. It’s a compact model, a bit scratched, with a dent on the battery housing and a neon-green Velcro strap still attached to the case. I think I must have dropped it near Churchill Square on West Street while popping into a café for a cold drink, and I retraced my steps toward the Brighton Centre but didn't see it. It means a lot to me—it was a gift from my dad, and I really need it back to finish a DIY project. If anyone finds it, please text me; I’d be forever grateful.
