Lost paintings near downtown Brainerd, tonight

I was wrapping up a small show at the Brainerd Public Library on 3rd Street when I stepped outside to stretch my legs at 6:18 PM yesterday. Two of my paintings, works I’ve been carrying between studios for weeks, disappeared from the easel at the back of the building. They’re medium-sized abstract landscapes with bold blues and gold accents, and one edge has a faint coffee stain I can’t shake. I’m heartbroken—these paintings were created over the last six months and feel like a piece of my story. Please keep an eye out around the Brainerd Public Library steps.

Found someone else’s dolls in Brainerd

I was wandering near the Paul Bunyan statue in downtown Brainerd around 12:45 PM on Saturday when I spotted a pink tote with a half-open zipper. Inside sat a small group of dolls, some with mismatched outfits and a handmade quilt. They looked almost like a little cast of characters waiting to go home. I don’t belong to them, but I wanted to help return them to the owner who might be distressed, especially if this was a cherished toy set from a child. I kept them safe and passed the tote along to Brainerd’s local desk with a note and the idea they’d help connect me through the site.

Found equipment for various sports in Brainerd

This afternoon, around 4:20 p.m., I found equipment for various sports near Brainerd's Paul Bunyan Trail trailhead overlooking the Mississippi River. In a worn backpack were a hockey stick, two tennis rackets, a baseball glove, and a dusty pair of bowling shoes—a curious mix that said someone had been at a park or practice. It looked like someone left a lot of gear behind after a session, so I kept it safe and posted here in Brainerd in the hopes it helps.

Lost vintage baseball card collection from the 1980s in a black leather folder near Horseshoe Lake Park, Brainerd.

I lost my treasured collection of vintage baseball cards, all from the 1980s. I believe I dropped the folder while walking around Horseshoe Lake Park in Brainerd. There are about 30 cards featuring iconic players like Bo Jackson and Ken Griffey Jr. The folder itself is a black leather with some wear and tear, and inside, there's a specific top loader for a card signed by Derek Jeter. If anyone finds it, I would be so grateful to have it back.
