Lost holiday decorations in Brainerd near Gregory Park
I’m the owner of these holiday decorations. Friday evening at 6:45 pm I was taking down the decorations from the porch of my house on 3rd Street South, Brainerd, when a gust of wind swept the box away toward Gregory Park. The box held string lights, garlands, a few fragile ornaments, and a light-up candy-cane display. I’d been looking forward to a cozy display, and losing them feels like a little loss of holiday spirit. If these are found, please reach out through the site so we can arrange a pickup near Brainerd City Hall or at the park entrance where I last saw them.
Found: holiday decorations near Brainerd Public Library
I found a cardboard box with assorted holiday decorations outside the Brainerd Public Library on Laurel Street around 5:50 p.m. yesterday. The box contained string lights, a wreath, a snowman figure, and a few Santa hats, all scattered as if knocked from a porch during the wind. I’ve kept them on my porch for now, hoping to reunite them with their owner. They aren’t of great monetary value, but they mean a lot to the people who set them up every year.
