Natural wood cajon found on West King St
I found a natural wood cajon this afternoon around 2:30pm behind the Boone Community Theatre on West King Street, near the old train depot. It's about 12 inches tall and 9 inches wide, with a warm honey color and a few tiny scratches on the front panel. There’s a bright blue star sticker on the upper left corner and a faint Meinl logo along the back edge. It’s in decent shape overall, no cracks, just weathered from some outdoor storage. I left it outside Plemmons Student Union on Rivers Street in Boone after practice, and I’m really hoping someone picked it up. Hey, I lost my black Novation Peak polyphonic synthesizer yesterday around 3pm. It was in a padded black gig bag with a blue shoulder strap and a tiny green dragon sticker on the back. I think someone may have picked it up outside Boone Music Exchange on West King Street, near the CVS and the town square. The synth is in great condition, with only a couple of light scratches on the top panel, and it means a lot to me—it's a gift from my mentor. I really need it back.
