Found drapes near Boise Public Library
I was walking along Capitol Boulevard near the Boise Public Library this morning around 9:40 a.m. when I spotted a rolled bundle of drapes by the curb outside a storefront. They’re beige with a subtle floral pattern, dusty and wrinkled, tied with twine. I brought them home to keep them safe and posted here in case the owner sees this. They obviously belong somewhere inside a living room, not on a street corner. I hope the owner comes forward through the site.
Lost: bundle of kitchen appliances near downtown Boise
I realized around 7:10 PM yesterday that my bundle of kitchen appliances was missing. I was at the Riverside Apartments on West Idaho Street, cleaning up after making dinner for a neighbor and stepping out for a quick call by the Boise River Greenbelt trailhead. I last left them on the kitchen counter—a shiny stainless toaster, a blue-lidded blender, and a compact slow cooker. It feels grounding and a little heartbreaking to lose them; those gadgets are part of my nightly routine and, in a way, connect me to my family’s memories. If anyone has seen them, I just want them back where they belong.
Lost radios near Boise Depot
I lost my radios around 7:25 PM last Friday near the Boise Depot. They’re a compact pair, gray with a blue display, and one has a dent in the corner from a fall on the pavement. They’re important to me because they’re my go-to for coordinating volunteers during events, and they hold a handful of work notes scribbled on sticky tabs. I’ve retraced Front Street and the Greenbelt by the depot, but there’s no sign of them yet.
