Silver MacBook Air, blue planet sticker, lost in Birmingham
I lost my silver MacBook Air (late 2020) yesterday around 6pm near the Grand Central concourse by John Lewis on New Street, Birmingham. It was inside a slim black protective sleeve with a small circular blue planet sticker on the sleeve, and the lid is engraved with my initials 'AP'. It's in good condition, with a small scratch on the bottom edge. Inside are design sketches and a portfolio for an upcoming exhibition. This laptop is important to me; it was a gift from my sister and it holds work I need for the show, so I'm really hoping to get it back.
Blue paperback 'The Midnight Library' found near Library of Birmingham
Found this afternoon around 3:15pm outside the Library of Birmingham on Broad Street. It's a blue paperback edition of The Midnight Library by Matt Haig, a bit worn at the spine but still clean inside. A green bookmark with a tiny fox doodle sticks out about an inch, and there's a small 'Book Club January' sticker on the back cover. I lost my blue paperback travel guide to Birmingham yesterday around 3pm. It's a small-format guide, about 190 pages, with a bright green ribbon bookmark sticking out between pages 42 and 43. The cover is creased and there's a faint coffee ring on the back. This little book means a lot to me—it lists my favorite Birmingham cafes and a walking route I planned for a weekend visit. I had it last near the Bullring and outside the Library of Birmingham on Broad Street, while I was jotting down notes for a day in the city. If someone finds it, please reach out.
