I had tucked my two vintage brooches into my coat while I looked at a stall, and when I stood to pay, they were gone. They are heirloom pieces—the brass one has a turquoise stone, the silver one is engraved—and I’m anxious they might have slipped into a pocket or fallen behind a bench. I’m hopeful someone saw them or picked them up and left them in a safe place around that area.
