Found cat: gray tabby with white paws, red collar
I found a cat this afternoon around 4:15pm behind the CVS on Walton Way in Augusta. It's a gray tabby, medium-sized with white paws and a tiny scar above its left eye. It was wearing a bright red collar with a little bell that jingles when it moves. The cat seemed friendly but a little skittish, so I gave it a few minutes of gentle reassurance before I left it by a tidy plant bed near the storefronts; Iβd love to reunite it with its family. If this sounds like yours, please share a recent photo or distinguishing details, and we can arrange a safe meetup in downtown Augusta.
Lost dog: Cream beagle mix with red collar
I lost my cream beagle-mix yesterday around 5:30pm near the Augusta Common, just off Broad Street. He's a medium-sized dog, about 30 pounds, with a faded red collar and a tiny bone-shaped tag. He has a white patch on his chest and looks friendly, but he gets skittish when he's away from me. This dog is my kid - I've had him since he was a puppy, and he holds sentimental value. I'm really worried and just want him home safe in Augusta.
Grey tabby with white paws found near Riverwalk
I found a cat this afternoon around 4:15pm, wandering along Broad Street near the Riverwalk behind the Augusta Library. Itβs a medium-sized gray tabby with white paws and a white bib, plus a tiny notch in its left ear. It wore a faded blue collar with a small gold bell, and it looked a bit hungry but was friendly when I approached. I sat with it for a few minutes, offered water, and it followed me briefly before slipping back toward the bushes. If this sounds like your cat, share details about the collar or any distinctive markings so we can get you reunited.
Blue parakeet with yellow chest, lost in Augusta
Yesterday around 3pm I lost my blue parakeet with a yellow chest near the Augusta Mall on Wrightsboro Road. He's about 7 inches long, with cobalt-blue feathers and a bright yellow patch on his chest, and he wears a small green leg band marked 'FP'. One tail feather is a bit longer from a past molt, which makes him easy to identify. He's really outgoing and answers to the name Pico; this bird means a lot to me, it's a rescue from a few years ago, so I'm worried I won't see him again. If you spot him, text me right away.
Found a small green and yellow parakeet in a backyard in Augusta, Georgia.
I found a small, friendly parakeet in my backyard in Augusta earlier today. It has bright green feathers with a yellow head and seems to be well cared for but looks a little lost. I've been trying to find its owner because it keeps chirping and looking around. If you're missing this sweet little bird, please reach out!
