I think I left a stack of clean white cotton sheets in a tan laundry bag outside my apartment near Pack Square Park in downtown Asheville around 2:23 pm on Sunday while I was grabbing a quick coffee. It was a sunny moment, people strolling, a dog sniffing by the fountain, and then I looked back and they were gone. The sheets are plain, queen-size, fresh but not new, folded and tied with a red string. It would mean a lot to get them back; they’re not priceless, but they’re mine and practical.
