I live in Altoona and I'm missing my little green budgie. Yesterday around 3pm, he slipped from his cage on the living room windowsill when the door opened, and I haven't seen him since. He's palm-sized, with a bright green body, a yellow face, blue-tinted wings, and a distinctive red leg band marked 428. He’s tame, loves to chirp, and responds to the name Mango. I last spotted him near the CVS on Plank Road in Altoona, and I’m really hoping he finds his way back home—this bird is a part of our family and my son is heartbroken. Gray hamster in blue cage found near Walmart
I found a tiny gray hamster this afternoon around 3:15pm outside the Walmart on Plank Road in Altoona. It was tucked inside a blue Habitrail-style cage with a little pink water bottle and a chew toy. The fur is clean but a bit muddy from the rain, about 4 inches long, with a white belly and a heart-shaped white patch on its chest, plus a tiny notch on the left ear. There’s no ID tag on the cage and I didn’t feel any microchip when I checked. She's about 2 years old, medium-sized, with tri-color fur and white paws, and she wears a light blue collar with a tiny bell that jingles when she moves; I also noticed a small notch on her right ear. She seemed a bit wary at first but started purring when I called softly and offered some tuna I had in my bag.
