Full-size violin, cherry finish, dent on lower bout
Description
Lost my full-size violin yesterday around 4:15pm outside the Albany Public Library on Madison Avenue, near Washington Park. It's a cherry-finish violin with a warm, bright tone and a glossy varnish that's worn in a few spots from years of practice. There’s a small dent on the lower bout, and a pencil inscription reading 'M. Rossi 1992' visible inside the f-hole. The bow is a dark wood with a slightly frayed red grip, and the case is a brown leather affair with a faded purple lining. This instrument means a lot to me; it was a gift from my grandmother and I really need it back for an upcoming recital.
