Original 16x20 painting, teal/rust, signed
I lost my original 16x20 painting on canvas yesterday around 3pm. It's a hand-painted piece in teal, cream, and rust, framed in a black wooden frame about 1 inch wide, and signed on the lower right. There’s a tiny scratch on the upper left corner and a faint blue fingerprint on the back. It was a gift from my grandmother, so it’s sentimental to me; last seen near the Akron Art Museum by Lock 3 Park on Market Street. If you’ve seen it, please reach out—thank you.
Blue ceramic vase found outside Akron Public Library
I found a blue ceramic vase this morning around 9:15am outside the Akron Public Library on Main Street. It’s about 9 inches tall and 5 inches across, with a hand-painted cobalt glaze and delicate white floral accents. There’s a small nick along the rim and a star-shaped sticker on the bottom that reads 'Acorn Studio.' The glaze shows a bit of wear in spots, so it feels like a well-loved piece. If this belongs to someone, I’d be happy to get it back to its owner and put this little treasure back on its shelf.
Hand-painted ceramic vase with blue floral pattern
I lost my hand-painted ceramic vase yesterday around 3pm near the Akron Art Museum on Market Street. It's about 8 inches tall, off-white glaze with cobalt blue flowers. There’s a small glaze crack on the rim and a faint fingerprint under the glaze near the bottom. I bought it at a local market last year, and it’s sentimental because it was a gift from my grandmother. If anyone finds it, I’d really appreciate getting it back for my living room display.
Hand-painted ceramic vase with blue-gold florals
I found a hand-painted ceramic vase this afternoon around 2:15 pm in the parking lot behind the Akron Art Museum on West Market Street. It's about 12 inches tall, white with cobalt blue and gold floral patterns along the rim, and there's a tiny chip on the lip that gives it character. On the bottom there's a sticker that says 'Made in Peru' and a faint signature that looks like 'A. Rivera' scratched near the foot. I picked it up because it stood out by the bike racks and I didn't want it to get knocked over, but I know it's probably someone’s special piece. If this vase belongs to you, I’m happy to coordinate a pickup near the museum entrance.
