Description
I lost my antique pocket watch yesterday around 4:15pm. It's a small gold-tone piece with a blue enamel dragon on the back and a glass cover that's scratched. Inside the lid there's a faint engraving 'M.R.' and a tiny serial number 'X-1978' that you can read in good light. I think I had it after leaving The Shambles Market by York Minster and walking toward Walmgate; it was a family heirloom from my grandfather and means a lot to me. If anyone found it, I’d be grateful to hear from you.

- Request a clear photo of the item from an angle you did not post.
- Do not pay any release, shipping, or storage fee.

Meet in a safe, public place
- Police stations, café entrances, transport hubs, and shop foyers all work.

- Avoid private homes, car parks at night, or isolated locations.
Bring someone with you
- Tell a friend or family member where you are meeting and when.
