I realized my rabbits were gone after a walk near Reynolda Gardens in Winston-Salem yesterday around 6:20 p.m. There are two: a white rabbit with black ears and a smaller brown one with a soft gray patch. I last saw them near the pond behind Reynolda House and must have drifted off the path while I paused to tie my shoes. My heart sank as the sun set and the streetlamps flickered along Reynolda Road. If you’ve seen them, they’re friendly and respond to soft voices and a gentle whistle.
