Hi, I'm Maya Alvarez. I was walking the Cape Fear Riverfront at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, by the Riverwalk and the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge, when I spotted two wrist watches lying near the railing. They looked a bit scuffed but both faces were clear, and I could tell someone treasured them. I picked them up and brought them to the site, hoping the owner might see this post. It would be such a relief to reunite them with whoever wears them after a long day; I know how small tokens can carry big memories.
