Blue field guide to local birds
I found a blue paperback field guide to local birds this afternoon around 3:15pm in the parking lot behind the Greenfield Public Library on Main Street in Western Massachusetts. It's a Peterson Field Guide to Birds of New England, about 350 pages, with a creased spine and a coffee stain on the back cover. Inside the front cover there's a pencil doodle of a hummingbird and a small handwritten note that says 'For M. Rivera' with a date from last summer. The book has dog-eared pages near the Warblers section and a faint sticker from Greenfield Public Library on the back. If this is yours, drop me a message here and we can arrange a pickup.
Lost blue floral pattern scarf in Forest Park, Springfield.
I lost my favorite blue scarf with a floral pattern while walking my dog in Forest Park, Springfield, last Sunday. It has sentimental value and I really hope someone finds it.
Found black rolling suitcase with scuff marks and a broken zipper at Lakeview Park in Western Massachusetts.
I found a black rolling suitcase while walking my dog around Lakeview Park in Western Massachusetts. The suitcase has some noticeable scuff marks on the bottom and the zipper on one side is broken, but it seems to be otherwise intact. It was just sitting there on the park bench. I’ve opened it, and it contains some clothes and personal items, but no ID that I can find. I’d love to return it to its owner as soon as possible!
Brown-black hound mix named Scout, lost in Northampton
I’m missing Scout, a five-year-old brown-black hound mix about 50 pounds. He wears a blue nylon collar with a red name tag that says 'Scout' and a small reflective stripe. Yesterday around 3pm we were on Main Street by Smith College near the campus market area when a passerby startled him and he bolted toward the river path behind the Northampton Athletic Center. He has a white patch on his chest and a slight limp in his left hind leg. He’s friendly, really attached to me, and this dog means the world to me—please help me bring him home; text 413-555-0189 or email [email protected] if you see him.
