I lost my blue hardcover field guide to birds of the Northeast yesterday around 3pm near the Northampton Public Library on Main Street. It's a 2008 edition with a bright orange ribbon bookmark and a small coffee stain on the back cover. Inside, there's a faded sticker under the front flyleaf with my initials PP and a note I wrote when I first bought it; also there's a folded map tucked in the back pocket. It matters to me because it was a gift from my late grandfather, and I use it for weekend birding trips around the Valley. If anyone found it, I’d really appreciate getting it back so I can keep exploring.
