I was walking along the C&O Canal Towpath by Canal Place in Cumberland around 4:10 PM on Sunday when I spotted a tote filled with gear for various sports. Inside were a few knee pads, a spare tennis racket, a couple of gym bags, and some cleats, all mixed together like someone had dumped them after practice. I can imagine how easy it is to lose a bag of equipment during a busy day outdoors. I’ve kept the items in a safe spot here, hoping the owner will recognize them.
Lost GPS devices near Valley Mall, Hagerstown
I was at the Valley Mall in Hagerstown around 4:15 PM yesterday, and I realized my GPS devices weren't in my bag after I left the food court. I retraced my steps from the mall entrance to several benches near the fountain, checked the seating areas, and even asked at the information desk, but they didn’t turn up. The devices are essential for my work trips and keeping logistics on track, so I’m hoping a good Samaritan found them and will report them through the site. I was leaving the Maryland Theatre in downtown Hagerstown after a show around 7:15 pm last Saturday when I realized my DVDs weren’t in my bag. They’re in a blue double-case with a sticker that says "Family Favorites" and a mix of sci‑fi and classic titles. The set means a lot to me; one of the discs was a copy my grandmother sent years ago, and every time I watch it I think of her. I retraced my steps through the lobby, near the concession stand, and out toward the street, but I didn’t find them. If someone happened to turn them in, I’d be grateful for their return.
