At about 6:30 PM Friday, I was leaving Pybus Public Market with a tote labeled Breeds—the folder holding all my dog breed registrations and care sheets. The bag slipped from my shoulder as I crossed Wenatchee's Riverfront Park, and somewhere between the market’s doorway and the pedestrian path it disappeared. The brown folder has a red label; inside are papers for several breeds and medical notes. I’m anxious because those papers are essential for my dogs and for my small breeding efforts.
