It’s a medium frame, matte blue with a white Trek logo and a bright red water bottle tucked in the cage. The saddle has a small tear on the left side, and the handlebars are wrapped in black tape that’s starting to peel. There’s a reflective sticker on the frame and a tiny dent on the top tube near the head badge—easy to spot once you know what to look for. I lost my taupe queen duvet cover set with navy piping yesterday around 3pm. It was last seen in Ventura County, near the Ventura Harbor Village outside the Fisherman’s Wharf area along Main Street, behind the old warehouse by the bike racks. The set includes a queen duvet cover and two matching shams. The fabric is soft cotton sateen, in decent condition, but there’s a small coffee stain on the inner flap and the zipper pull on the duvet cover has a tiny blue bead I tied to it. My initials 'MF' are embroidered in the inner corner. It really has sentimental value — it was a gift from my grandmother, and I’d be incredibly grateful to have it back when possible.
Orange paperback travel guide, Ventura County, lost today near harbor
Yesterday around 3pm I realized I'd misplaced my orange paperback travel guide about Ventura County. It's a small 6x8 inch book with a bright orange cover, a few creases in the spine, and a blue sticky note tucked inside the back cover with my initials 'PD' and my phone number. There's a pineapple sticker on the back and a dog-eared page about the marina. I last remember having it in my tote near the Ventura Harbor Village, probably by the bike rental stand or the public restrooms. It's sentimental to me because it was a gift from a friend who visited last summer, and I'd be really grateful to have it back.
Silver ring with emerald inlay; found near Oxnard Beach Park
I found a silver ring with an emerald inlay this afternoon around 4:15pm near the Oxnard Beach Park entrance on Harbor Boulevard, right by the bike path. It's sterling silver, about size 7, with a simple bezel setting and a small green emerald in the center. There are tiny initials 'A.R.' engraved on the inside of the band and a shallow scratch along the outer edge from wear. The ring is in decent condition overall and looks well cared for. I’d love to reunite it with its owner—please reach out if you recognize it.
