I lost my xylophones after the band rehearsal at the Twin Tiers Arts Center on Main Street in Elmira, around 7:15 p.m. I wheeled them out to the loading dock and stepped away to talk with a friend for a moment. When the hall emptied, they were gone. They're a 3-octave set with a bright yellow cover, and they feel like a part of me—the ones I play with at our weekly sessions and school gigs.
