Pocket Watches lost near Vigo County Courthouse, Terre Haute

by the fountain on Vigo County Courthouse Square Lost listing Posted 5 days ago

Description

I was strolling the Terre Haute courthouse square at about 4:15 p.m. Friday, after grabbing a quick espresso. My two antique pocket watches were tucked in a leather pouch inside my coat pocket while I chatted with a friend on a bench near the fountain. When I stood up to stretch and check a map on my phone, I realized they were gone. The square was crowded, and I hope someone picked them up or remembers seeing them on that bench. Those watches are heirlooms, and I can't help feeling shaken by their absence.
