Lost something on public transport?

How to track down an item left on a bus, train, tram, or taxi by contacting the right transport operator.

Items left on buses, trains, trams, and taxis around St Cloud are usually handed in to the operator's lost property team — the trick is contacting the right one quickly.

  1. Identify the operator. Note the route, line, or company and the rough time. Each operator runs its own lost property process.
  2. Submit a lost property report. Use the operator's online form or phone line as soon as possible; recovered items are logged against your description.
  3. For taxis and rideshare, contact the driver or company directly through your booking or app receipt.
  4. Keep your reference. Save any report number so you can chase it up.
  5. Post a listing. Add a listing for St Cloud in case a fellow passenger picked it up.

Lost clutches near St. Cloud Public Library

On Friday at 5:15 p.m., I left the St. Cloud Public Library on West St. Germain Street after a quick coffee run and realized my two clutches were missing from the chair where I’d sat. They’re small black leather purses, with silver clasps and a tiny charm from my grandmother. They mean more to me than the items inside—they’re a reminder of holidays with my mom. I retraced steps along the riverfront, but the wind and crowds swallowed them. If someone picked them up, I’d be deeply grateful to have them back.

Lost Guitars in downtown St Cloud

I’m Kara Larson, and I lost my guitars in downtown St Cloud this Saturday around 2:15 PM. I had a sunburst Fender Stratocaster in a white gig bag and a black acoustic with a blue strap, and I last saw them outside the Lake George pavilion near Riverside Park after grabbing coffee. I retraced my steps along 5th Avenue and the riverfront, but they weren’t there. If you found them, please contact me through the site so we can sort it out.

LOST Terrariums in St. Cloud

I lost my terrariums after a quick stop for coffee on Tuesday at 6:12 p.m. near the St. Cloud Public Library. They’re a small cluster of glass bowls with moss and two tiny plants, tied together with string. I packed them into my tote on my way out and, by the time I looked back, they were gone from the bench by the riverfront path. They were a gift from my sister and bring me calm during busy days, so I keep imagining someone finding them and placing them on a windowsill to brighten their own day.

Lost hats near downtown St. Cloud

Hi, I am Grace Larson. I lost two hats last Friday around 6:45 p.m. on the steps outside the St. Cloud Public Library on West St. Germain Street. A gust of wind knocked the gray knit beanie from my bag, and the navy cap tumbled toward Riverside Park. I searched the sidewalk and along the river, but I did not spot either hat. They are sentimental—my grandmother knitted the gray beanie, and the cap has a color I wear all the time. If anyone found them, I would be grateful; they mean a lot to me.

lost Felines near Munsinger Gardens, St Cloud

I lost my felines last night around 9:10 PM after I opened the back door in our St Cloud townhouse near Riverside Park and forgot to close it. There are two of them: one gray tabby with a white bib, and a smaller black-and-white cat. I have searched the sidewalks by the Munsinger Gardens and along the river, calling their names and leaving a few bowls of food on the porch, but they have not returned. I am worried sick and keep hoping they will wander home before the next cold snap.

Lost shopping bags near Munsinger Gardens, St. Cloud

Yesterday at 6:15 p.m. I realized my shopping bags were missing after unloading groceries near Lake George by Munsinger Gardens in St. Cloud. I must have set them down on the curb while I chatted with a friend by the swan pond, and when I turned back they were gone. Inside were a couple of reusable totes, a few grocery essentials, and a stubborn umbrella I’ve had since college. I’m hoping someone picked them up to save me a cold, soggy morning tomorrow.
