Blue travel guide with green ribbon bookmark
I’m missing my blue paperback travel guide to St. Augustine, the one with the green ribbon bookmark. I last had it yesterday around 3pm, while wandering the Historic District near the Lightner Museum on King Street. It’s a well-worn copy with a small coffee stain on the back cover and pages that are dog-eared from countless café breaks. It’s more than a book to me—it’s my go-to for local tips and memories from my first month here, so I’d really appreciate getting it back. If you found it, please drop me a line at [email protected]; I’ll be forever grateful.
Red pocket travel guide with a green post-it note
I lost my red pocket travel guide yesterday around 3pm near the Castillo de San Marcos on King Street. It's a Lonely Planet Pocket Florida, about 4 by 7 inches, with a slightly bent spine and a coffee ring on the back cover. The inside has a bright green Post-it note stuck on page 12 with a quick itinerary, and the pages are dog-eared from frequent use. This book was a gift from my sister and means a lot to me—it's my go-to reference when I explore St Augustine, and I really need it back. If anyone found it, please get in touch; I can meet near the Old City Gate or the Plaza de la Constitución to pick it up.
Blue hardcover mystery novel, worn, found near Castillo
Found a blue hardcover mystery novel this afternoon around 2:45pm near the Castillo de San Marcos, tucked under a bench by the information kiosk. It's clearly well-loved—yellowing pages, a bent spine, and a dog-eared corner. Inside the cover there's a red ribbon bookmark and a small lighthouse sticker that might help identify the owner. If you're missing this, I can meet you near the Bridge of Lions or Plaza de la Constitución to hand it over.
Found travel guide near St George Street
I found a paperback travel guide this afternoon around 2:15pm on St George Street, just outside a cafe by the Bridge of Lions. It's a paperback copy of The Art of Travel with a bright yellow cover and blue lettering. The corners are a little dog-eared and there's a slim red bookmark sticking out from page 134. On the inside cover someone wrote 'Maria Chen' in neat pen, and there's a faint coffee stain along the back. If you're the owner, I'd be happy to get it back to you in St Augustine.
Found leashes near Castillo de San Marcos, St Augustine.
I was walking along St. George Street by the Castillo de San Marcos yesterday afternoon around 2:15 PM when I found a pair of dog leashes tangled on the curb. There is a blue nylon leash and a red leash with worn stitching; both are clearly used but clean. I am posting this here because I know how important these items are for a dog owner and I would feel the same if my leashes vanished. I hope the owner recognizes them and the site helps you get them back.
Found hand-painted djembe drum with vibrant colors and intricate designs on a bench near the historic district beach in St Augustine.
I found this stunning hand-painted djembe drum while walking my dog along the beach near the historic district of St Augustine. It was sitting on a bench and seemed forgotten. It's in great condition, with vibrant colors and intricate designs. I would love to return it to its owner, as it looks like a cherished possession!
Lost Bailey: golden-brown beagle mix
I lost my Bailey yesterday around 3pm near the Lightner Museum on King Street in St Augustine. He's a small-to-medium beagle mix, about 25 pounds, with golden-brown fur and a white chest, wearing a sky-blue collar with a faded silver heart tag. There is a tiny white spot on his left ear and a small scar on his right hind leg, and a teal nylon leash is looped from his collar. Bailey is friendly but shy with strangers, and I am really worried—this dog is family to me and holds sentimental value. If you’ve seen him, text me or email [email protected] with any sightings.
