Orange tabby cat with white paws, found

Found a cat this afternoon around 3:45 PM in the parking lot behind the Natchez Visitors Center on Canal Street. It's a short-haired cat, about 9 pounds, with white paws and a small white patch on his chest. He wears a frayed red collar with a tiny silver bell, and his eyes are bright green. He seemed a little hungry and scared, so I kept him in a safe spot and looked for a microchip but didn't see one. I would really like to get him back with his family; he looks cared for, just a bit muddy from the rain. If this is your cat, please reach out; I'll help reunite you.
